Our sense of time and how it can be changed

You find that your agenda is completely filled. Every minute of the day seems to be occupied. And you haven’t even looked in the laundry basket or the refrigerator yet. There is probably a trip to the grocery store or a load of laundry waiting for you – it seems to be never ending. And yet, every day only consists of 24 hours.

Our perception of time can feel oppressing. Time is seemingly working against us. It feels that way because time is a concept that was invented by mankind. Thousands of years ago, people did not have an awareness of time. Time existed, but there was no judgement or deliberate planning involved. People lived in the ‘here and now’ and spent their time on what was truly important to them, without consulting their agenda first.

How would it be if you had a choice? What would happen if you would take responsibility for the way you spend your time and make choices that actually feel right for you?

Humans seem to evolve from one extreme form into the next. The internet is a good example. We went from living without the internet, to not being able to imagine our lives without it.
From a life without a sense of time, to a life in which our awareness of time dominates our life.

Is there a way back?

There is.

Will it take some getting used to?

Absolutely.

Even though we will be returning to our natural state of being, in the beginning it will feel unnatural to let go of managing our time as we are used to. Our environment and the people around us will have to adapt to these changes as well.

Developing your plan in such a way that it suits your life according to your soul’s mission, does not mean that you will be less productive. Quite the opposite – you will create more time and freedom to work on the things that are dear to you.

And be honest: the most beautiful and exciting things in life can’t be planned!

When you live from your heart and your intuition, you will achieve so much more.
